JAZZ.FM91-YBB-2022-23-Michael-Arthurs

We’re proud to welcome the members of the JAZZ.FM91 Youth Big Band for the 2022-23 school year.

“It is an honour yet humbling to be working with a jazz ensemble featuring such talented young musicians,” says Michael Arthurs, musical director of the JAZZ.FM91 Youth Big Band.

“We are currently preparing a concert program to be presented in the new year that includes new and original arrangements, contemporary jazz charts, standards, and traditional big band repertoire laden with jazz improvisation and solos,” Arthurs adds. “I am excited and look forward to exceeding expectations as we gain experience via public performances. Please stay tuned. The JAZZ.FM 91 Youth Big Band is coming your way!”
