JAZZ.FM91’s Holiday Heroes Instrument Drive

This holiday season, give the gift of music to those in need.

JAZZ.FM91’s award-winning Holiday Heroes Instrument Drive is now under way for its 10th year.

In partnership with Long & McQuade Musical Instruments and FedEx, we’re asking you to donate your gently used musical instrument that’s in search of a new home.

This year, most of the instruments will be going to the Africentric Alternative School, and any ukuleles we receive will be donated to the Doane Uschool. We can’t wait to share your gifts with them.

You can drop off your instrument in good repair at the JAZZ.FM91 studios in Liberty Village (4 Pardee Ave., Unit 100, Tue-Thu, 10:30am-3pm) or at the Long & McQuade location on Bloor Street (925 Bloor St. W, Store Hours). The deadline to drop off your instrument is Dec 22, 2022.

Instruments in need:

• drums and percussion (drum kits, cymbals, drum hardware, drum sticks, hand drums, shakers, congas, etc.)
• brass (trumpet, trombone, French horn, baritone, tuba)
• woodwind (flute, clarinets, saxophones, oboe, bassoon)
• strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass)
• electronic keyboards
• guitars, basses and ukuleles
