Gin Fizz’gerald

Like the voice of Ella Fitzgerald, this cocktail is light, fresh and full of character. Enjoy the gin fizz while listening to the best of the First Lady of Song. Plus, it's simple enough that there's plenty of room for improvisation — just like Ella loved.

  • 2 oz gin
  • 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz soda water
  • 1 lemon slice, for garnish

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled highball glass over fresh ice cubes, top with soda water and garnish with a lemon slice.
