Fahir Atakoglu is a Turkish pianist and composer who has worked with a wide range of artists across many genres of music.
His stylistic diversity includes jazz, world music, symphonic works, and he has composed music for documentaries, feature films and even advertising jingles. He has released 17 albums since his solo debut in 1994, and he has performed at venerable jazz venues around the world.
Atakoglu’s latest album For Love, released this year, is a collaboration of different cultures featuring 42 artists from eight different countries, with lyrics written by his collaborators in a variety of languages.
